"With a remix for BlahBlahBlah’s new signing TR which dropped in June, a second release on his own imprint Hectare Discs in July and a remix for rising stars Codex, WDDS has really taken lockdown into his stride. For his last outing of 2020, the Manchester based producer returns to Hectare Discs with his 3rd EP, ‘Get Into / Lies From Diefeffell’.
The two tracker shows WDDS expressing himself in his truest form yet, the A-side Get Into contrasts hip hop sounds from yesteryear, with a more modern take on jungle with skittish drums etched over a deep 808 sub. On the flip side, Lies From Diefeffel is something for the after hours, combining atmospheric pads with diverse vocal drones over a more unorthodox drum & bass rhythm.
This release is out 4th December 2020"
